Have stayed here many times and would definitely go again. The weather was lovely, had very pleasant stay. The location was quiet and particularly good - just walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. The hotel was in a domestic area. Our breakfast was satisfactory, liked it...

The host, Derek, was incredibly welcoming and kind. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and provided useful information about the area. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the beds were like sleeping on clouds. I had a great night's sleep, which was much appreciated. Although the internet connection in the room was a little weak, it was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall comfort of my stay. The breakfast served by Derek was delicious and set me up for the day ahead. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a warm and pleasant stay in Cardiff.

The value for money was outstanding and the room was incredibly comfortable with the best beds we've slept in for ages. The location was convenient with easy access to public transport. Derek, the host, was amazing and made us feel incredibly welcome.
The hotel breakfast menu could have been improved with more variety.

The host was very kind and attentive, providing a comfortable and tidy room with a comfortable bed. The room also had coffee/tea and cookies, which was a nice touch. The breakfast, specifically the egg omelette, was enjoyable. the host went above and beyond by offering a free ride to a nearby location and even preparing a packed lunch.
The place had a dated feel and felt small and intimate. The shared space with the host, who slept next door, felt awkward.

I stayed at a cheap, comfortable, and quiet place that was worth every penny. The room was clean and cozy, with a comfy bed and nice amenities like coffee, tea, and cookies. The location was great, close to the city center, and the staff, especially Derek, was incredibly hospitable and attentive. Derek went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, offering us tea and cake before the game and even giving us a ride and homemade scones for our journey back to London. Truly a lovely stay and we left with a new friend.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with a little more variety.
